SOST Family: Home Fire Recovery

On January 8, the Sost family awoke to the smell of smoke in their home.  They escaped safely.  In a matter of minutes, the home was engulfed in flames.  The home burned for over eight hours under the watchful, expert eye of the North Chatham and White Cross fire departments.  The Chapel Hill and Carrboro fire departments also responded.  In short, the Sost family lost 99.9% of their home's contents, including a vehicle.

The Sost family will attempt to recalibrate a new normal.  With the help of family and friends they will find a new place to live until they can rebuild their home.  Their home was insured and they have funds to purchase new clothing and basics.

If this happened to you or your family, think about the things that you would love to replace but likely wouldn't due to a lengthy list of higher priorities.  This fundraising campaign is intended to help them replace items that may not be on the "critical" list but will help them recalibrate a new normal when they are ready.

Toni and Ron Sost are putting their life back together.  If you live in Pittsboro or Chatham County - you know that we take care of our people.  Please help us help the Sost family.  Any contribution to this campaign will help.

Let's show Toni and Ron Sost that we support them and will help them rebuild their life in Chatham County.

Thank you.
