The Mission:

Every week, our team at SOS] collects surplus food from local supermarkets and suppliers. This is perfectly good food that would otherwise end up in a landfill. Instead, we sort it, pack it, and deliver to local families, or community hubs

Why We Need Your Help:

While the food itself is free, the process of rescuing and distributing it is not. To keep our operations running safely and hygienically, we go through a high volume of essential supplies.

What Your Donations Will Buy:

We are raising funds to restock our "Collection Kits." Your contribution will go directly toward:

- Heavy-Duty Bags & Crates: To safely transport heavy loads of fruit, veg, and bread.

- Food-Grade Gloves: To ensure our volunteers can handle and sort the food hygienically.

- Storage Supplies: Labels, sanitizing wipes, and temperature-controlled bags for chilled items.

- Fuel/Transport Costs: Helping us get our van/cars from the store to the community.

The Impact:

By helping us buy these basics, you are a vital link in the chain. Without gloves and bags, we cannot legally or safely handle the food.

- £10/$10 provides enough bags for one week of collections.

- £25 buys a bulk pack of safety gloves and sanitizing supplies.

- £50 helps us maintain our transport and storage crates for the month.
