SOS PR & FL Relief
Five years after Hurricane Maria, we find ourselves with a major hurricane in Southwestern Puerto Rico with people going through significant trauma. We now have another trauma in South West Florida, Ian.
Five years ago, we mobilized thanks to you to bring direct medical attention, trauma relief interventions, medicines and supplies to the victims of Maria. We are doing that again for Fiona's victims in PR and Ian in Fort Myers. Through your contributions, in the aftermath of Maria, we brought direct medical and trauma relief, medicines and supplies in Puerto Rico to over 1,300 people in need, including First Responders.
You can see your contributions achieved by watching “When the Birds Stopped Singing" on YouTube. Click the link to watch: https://youtu.be/aPiBJujkIbo
On October 17, a team of medical workers will head down to southwestern PR for a 10-day mission. After that, we will be heading to the Fort Myers area to do the same: provide immediate medical treatments and trauma relief and do whatever we can to lower the suffering.
Transforming trauma into healing is what we are going to do.
So, if you can contribute, know that it will help us accomplish this and bring direct medical help to many people.
I thank you in advance for whatever support you can lend,
Dr. Santiago
