S.O.S ~ Rockstar is SINKING!
Dear Rockstar supporter,
We have sent out mass appeals expressing the dire situation Rockstar Rescue is in this year, with several donations having been received, but unfortunately coming from less than 20% of our donor base, and it just hasn't been enough to sustain us.
Rockstar Rescue takes in severe medical cases, requiring extensive and expensive recoveries. Dogs in our care don't get adopted quickly, therefore we also acquire extensive and expensive care costs as well. Boarding, veterinary care, specialized diets, surgeries, staffing... our expenses are $8,000 - $10,000 per month!
In our 14 years of service, we have never experienced the swift and stark decline in donations like we have this year. Our average monthly donation income for 2022 was $13,000. In 2023 our average has dropped to $5,000 monthly. LESS THAN HALF!
This isn't a result of mismanaged funds. This is the result of our economy, and the effect it's taking on all of us. But we have lives in our care that we made commitments to, and countless others waiting in shelters, who WILL DIE without organizations like ours!
WE NEED YOU, and we need you NOW!
We need... HAVE to raise $25,000 by December 31, 2023 to even entertain the idea of continuing as an organization. If these funds aren't raise, Rockstar Rescue sadly, will close!
This is an average of $410 per day, EVERY DAY for 61 days until December 31st. THAT'S HUGE! But we KNOW we have the supporters to help us achieve this.
