SOS CHAI began in the “Jungle” refugee camp in Calais, we served hot drinks and food every day to around 400 people. When the camp closed in 2016, we relocated our converted ambulance to Caen, where a growing migrant population was seeking shelter in the city.
With hundreds of refugees now living in Caen and its port of Ouistreham, we see an increasing need for food and related support.  Recently, we have come up with new ways to support the refugees with your help.

FRESH KITS - these bags contain a Shower Gel, Toothpaste, a Razor, Toothbrush, a packet of tissues and a pack of breakfast biscuits. These only cost 3 pounds to make up and provide basic toiletries for the refugees. As the weather turns colder we're seeing the boys in desperate need of basic warm clothing, shoes and sleeping bags.

£10 = SLEEPING BAG
£15 = WARM COAT
