Knaresborough Striders have given me the amazing opportunity to run my first ever marathon in London on the 26th April 2026 and to be able to tick off an experience that is top of my bucket list!

To help me run those 26.21 miles I am wanting to raise money for an important cause that I have a personal connection with. Brunswick Organic Nursery & Craft workshop is a registered charity and social enterprise based in Bishopthorpe, York. They provide meaningful work, training and a supportive community for adults with learning disabilities.

The Brunswick community currently have to use cold, draughty, outside portaloos and need to raise £100,000 to fix their sewage system and build indoor toilets.

I would like to raise money to help this worthy cause. I cannot link this Go Fund Me page directly to their charity fund raiser but I can assure you that the money you donate will be passed onto them and I have the backing of their fundraising team.
