Hi, my name is Jean-Pierre and we are raising funds as a family to help other families who have gone through the pain of losing a baby. This is important to us as it has changed our lives forever and we want to commit ourselves to doing all we can to give back to the charities that helped us in our time of need, and we also want to raise awareness about baby loss to make some urgently required changes in hospital procedures regarding high risk pregnancies, which we believe could save lives. Our little girl’s name was Sophie Lola Boltman and we lost her days before she was due to be born on a planned caesarean section, which was completely devastating. Losing her has crippled our family but we want to help others in her name to give even a little bit of hope to other families suffering the same pain, as we know that is what she would want us to do. We plan to raise funds and with these funds support baby loss charities and baby loss bereavement centres in hospitals. We also would like to raise some funds which will be used in support of raising awareness and pushing for change in some of the hospital procedures they use for high risk pregnancies. Izabella, Candice and I believe that Sophie was meant to change this world and it is by the grace of god that we feel her with us every day in everything we do, so if we help even just one family then it would mean the world to all of us.
