We are thrilled to be working with Sophie’s Legacy to bring a different kind of Easter joy to children at QA Hospital in Portsmouth. This year, instead of chocolate eggs, we want to reveal the Easter Bunny in a new way—by creating fun, hands-on sensory boxes designed to put a smile on everyone's face.

This project is close to our hearts, having run a similar and much-loved initiative providing sensory boxes at Christmas a couple of years ago. Now, we want to bring that same magic to Easter.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to make 50 of these special boxes. We plan to create 25 for children under three and 25 for those over three, ensuring each box is filled with safe, engaging and soothing sensory items suited to each age group.

Sensory Superstars, provided by The Disability Union, has been bringing comfort and play to families in our community since 2022. Having long admired the love and dedication of Sophie’s Legacy, we feel honoured to join them in helping to fulfil Sophie’s wishes. Together, we hope to bring a moment of light-hearted fun to children and families spending Easter in hospital.
