Sophie loved to play outside. She spent most of at recess watching other children run and play. This summer she got the opportunity to swing, go on the merry go round, teeter-totter and zipline with her cousins at an All Abilities Park in Utah. A park designed by two mothers and the city with playground equipment designed for abled and disabled children to play together.  We came home and were saddened that we couldn't find one park in San Diego for Sophie to play.  We found that for $50,000 we could purchase a set of swings, merry go round, teeter totter, and zipline that would work for all children. In lieu of flowers Sophie would want her disabled friends and all of her friends to be able to play at the park with each other.
