Hello, my name is Lucy and I'm fundraising for my daughter. This is my daughter, Her name is Sophia-Grace and she's 18 months old and she was born with down syndrome.

Sophia has significant complex needs and her health can change day to day. She has a lot of medical conditions such as AVSD, aspiration, swallowing difficulties, the list goes on.

Sophia has a lot of equipment in our home to get her by in day to day life, whether that's using the bath, eating, playing and standing.

As you can imagine all this equipment is taking up a lot of space and is now a safety hazard not just for ourselves and my older daughter but for Sophia also. Our rooms just aren't big enough to hold her equipment.

Sophia isn't mobile, as in she's not crawling, walking, standing and sitting on her own. So she needs extra equipment to give her the best start to life.

We are wanting to create "Sophia's Space" for her with sensory lights and where to store her equipment and just a place for her.

We're thinking about a summer house for her, that'll be placed at the bottom of our garden. This unfortunately comes at a big cost.
