Hello in 2023 our daughter Sophia Rose Carnwath was still born, at 41 weeks.
On the last Sunday of July for the last two years, we have held an annual event raising money for charities that contribute to the aftermath of child loss. This year is no different, on the 27th of July we are holding our annual Sophia Rose Coal Relay. Our main event involves 3 teams of 10, running with 25-50kg of coal, on their back, for around 1KM each. This year each team will be named after another baby who sadly is no longer with us.
This year our three main charities we are raising crucial funds for is, Andy’s Man Club, held in our hearts, and Mollys memory.
Andy’s Man Club, is a male suicide provention charity, allowing men to talk in a safe place, and meet other men who are struggling with mental health.
Held in our hearts, is a baby loss charity, who provides peer support and a community for bereaved families.
Mollys memory was set up after Molly was still born in August, 2015. Mollys memory organise and donate sibling boxes direct to families and hospitals. These boxes have an array of items such as books, cuddly toys, colouring books, and sentimental items which are all in a lovely box which can be kept as a memory box.
