The Sophia Ann Charity is the first non profit in Frederick Maryland to offer support, resources, education, and advocacy for infant loss and perinatal mental health. Located at the brand new offices at the Sophia Center on Industry Lane, we strive to provide support to individuals, couples, and families going through infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, pregnancy after loss, and a wide range of postpartum mood disorders. The charity was formed in honor of Kim and Shane Wivell's daughter, Sophia, who passed away in May 2023, and will continue to help those who have experienced similar challenges. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT to get this charity off the ground and ensure everyone gets the support they need! Your contributions will help fund the center which will provide individual and group therapies to all, regardless of their ability to pay, education for practitioners, and advocacy in the community.
