Hi, my name is Julie Cohen and I'm raising funds to help Sonya and her family from becoming homeless! Sonya has lived in our community for years and years. PLEASE help if you can!

Here's her story:

Today is our last day in our home and we will be without shelter as of tomorrow. We have very, very limited finances and resources, and need help. Our families are doing what they can to help us, but I don’t really like to be a burden to anyone or ask for help, but here I am. If you know me personally, you know that I am embarrassed and afraid. If you are able to and are so inclined, we could really use help with getting storage, a u-haul, hotel room, information, resources, anything for my family. My husband is a veteran and is working with the VA and Salvation Army. The shelters I have contacted have waiting lists. Please, no judgment. I appreciate any assistance, warm thoughts, and prayers you can send our way.
