On Tuesday the 6th Of December 2022, my son, Marley, 17, came home from his shift at sainsburys, he and his friend went into the kitchen to make food, his other friend came down from his bedroom to see Marley and ask how work was, Marley asked if his friend had already had dinner, his friend said yes and told Marley that he ate it in his bedroom, so Marley asked his friend if he could go upstairs and get his plate out so it didn't leave a smell in his room, so his friend runs upstairs and opens Marley's bedroom door and is met with a cloud of thick, black smoke so he slams the door shut and sprints back down the stairs screaming "FIRE, FIRE! THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE!" whilst already dialling 999, I, Marley's Dad, run upstairs to see how bad it is, I then opened Marley's Door and again, was met with a cloud of black smoke, so i shut the door, and got everyone out of the house, the fire brigade arrived and went into the room to put out the blaze, they couldn't pinpoint what caused the fire, it was something that was on Marley's bed, his whole bed had burned, all the walls and ceiling were covered in soot from the fire and smoke, his whole PC setup was damaged and can no longer be used as everything is covered in soot and partially melted, everything on his shelves have melted, his tv has slightly melted and no longer works, it is Marley's 18th birthday on the 13th of December and he has absolutely nothing, all money from this go fund me will help rebuild Marley's Room and get him back to where he was, thankyou to everyone who helps out with this ❤️
