**FIRST $10,000 MATCHED!**
Hello! We are Colleen and Michelle, two friends and moms from a suburb outside Minneapolis, and in early January 2026, in response to the murder of Renee Good and the growing number of neighbors sheltering-in-place due to ICE presence in Minneapolis, we connected with a few families in need of groceries.
We reached out to their friends, raised some funds, and within a week, had connected with 20 families and raised $10,000.
As ICE presence grew, so did the fear and uncertainty within our neighbor’s immigrant communities.
We decided early on to form relationships with our neighbors in need of groceries and diapers, and to continue to shop for them every two weeks, while also adding new families daily.
To date, we've raised over $30,000 which we've distributed to over 50 families in the form of groceries, toiletries, diapers, feminine hygiene products and more.
But as the occupation of our cities continues over weeks and months, many folks are most concerned about the rent that's been due twice since this started.
So we want to pay our families’ March rent, and we need your help!
Our goal is to raise $75,0000 for rent, utilities and food through a benefit concert (Songs For Our Neighbors, Feb. 22, Parkway Theatre), online silent auction and individual donations!
Thank you for donating, sharing this link and most importantly, loving our dear Minneapolis neighbors!
