I’m posting this Go-Fund me for a co-worker and good friend – Stephanie Cundle. I’ve known Stephanie for decades. I’ve never known someone with so much energy, motivation, & perseverance. She can run circles around me and most people I know. She would never ask for a hand out – ever – but I have watched her struggle without complaining for as long as I’ve known her and I don’t know what else to do to help her.

When I first met Steph, she was a single Mom to 3 kiddos one with severe medical issues who she was caring for on her own at home while working full-time. All with no support from her ex-husband.

Fast forward a few decades, Steph now lives with her daughter’s family in a rental in the basement. Her kiddo with medical issues is now in a long-term care home where staff turn over is high and care is not great which forces Steph to have to miss work to manage problems that arise weekly. Her kiddo requires special medications and equipment that is not covered by the government (or her ex-husband) on top of other random expenses that occur as problems keep arising. (Driving to Barrie for appointments because the staff at the home seem incapable of properly managing the feeding tube as an example.)

On top of her full-time job and caring for her kiddo, Steph also cleans houses most days after work and on week-ends to try to make ends meet.

She spent last year recovering from cancer and continues to struggle with the toll it took on her body. With no real time to care for herself, she is often forced to take time off from both her jobs due to illness/migraines.

Just as soon as it seems like things are going OK (as OK as it can get) – something else happens. It literally just never stops for her. This past week-end she was in a car accident caused by a 19y/o going too fast in slippery conditions. Her car (which wasn’t even hers) is likely a write off. We all know accidents take time and money to recover from – Steph just doesn’t have time for that. She now not only doesn’t have a car to get to work, she is without a vehicle to get to her kiddo. She tries SO hard but life just keeps throwing her curve balls.

Please even if it’s a few dollars, every little bit counts for her. I just want to give her a little bit of positive.
