Sometimes we need to help those that can’t ask..

As much as this saddens me to write this, I have had to create a go fund me page for help and support on behalf of Dan and the kids, for my sister Tracey-Lee Russell, they just really need a hand through a difficult and heartbreaking time. They’ve gone on for so long without asking for help as much as they have desperately needed it and have truely been dealing with hell since Tracey was diagnosed with a rare Brain cancer.

“The best part about memories, is making them” Tracey wanted nothing more in life but to build a life full of memories with Dan, their children and grandchildren to cherish for a lifetime. Life was never about the fancy things, it’s having family that mattered the most, Tracey and Dan made the absolute most out of the past 30 years together but I really wish they could have been gifted another 30 together.

They’ve never been the type of family to ever ask for anything, in Dan’s terms I’d feel like a scabber.. so this is my plea to try and get them some help they deserve to stay as a family, keep a roof over their heads, food on the table, just be able to live while coming to terms with that they’ve lost this battle this time and now need to prepare for a funeral and how to get by after saying goodbye.

They’ve lived on couches, in a car and where ever they can sleep for the past 6 months while Tracey has become extremely ill. Now moved almost 5 hours away from the place they’ve always called home so Tracey can just be with her family at home while she passes. It’s been impossible to get a rental let alone any kind of accommodation, we have all searched and just couldn’t find any help for them. The struggle has been real and confronting while going through the unthinkable.

They don’t have a reliable car, living in the middle of now where away from the rest of the family with two of the kids with disabilities is making life quite stressful.

Tracey has been struggling with a rare and aggressive stage 4 brain cancer, it doesn’t get any worse than that.. it is now taking her life hard and fast. She had fought her best fight but this time the cancer has taken this battle as the final win. This is a family no matter the circumstances they’ve always stuck together.

Please help if you can or even a share goes along way, anything will be greatly appreciated to help my family in a time of such heartache.
