If you've spent time in Yaletown, you've probably seen Todd.

Todd can be found cleaning the streets and the seawall. Although he is homeless and faces significant health and mobility challenges, he has made it his personal mission—and his job—to help keep our community clean.

Todd doesn't go door to door asking for money. He doesn't pressure anyone for donations. Instead, he works. He spends hours picking up litter, sweeping sidewalks, and doing his part to make Yaletown a cleaner, more welcoming place for everyone. Many local residents and business owners know him by name and choose to support him because they've seen firsthand the pride he takes in his work.

Todd has become much more than a familiar face. He's someone who reminds us that kindness, dignity, and hard work can exist even in the most difficult circumstances.

Unfortunately, last week, someone stole Todd's wheelchair and his phone.

For most of us, replacing a phone or wheelchair would be difficult. For Todd, it has been devastating. His wheelchair is his independence. Without it, getting around safely is a daily challenge, and continuing the work he loves becomes even harder.

That's why we're asking for your help.

Our goal is to raise enough money to purchase Todd a proper mobility wheelchair that is durable, fits his medical needs, and includes security features to help prevent it from being stolen again. Any additional funds will go toward replacing his phone, helping with essential daily needs, and providing some stability while he gets back on his feet.
