Someone murdered Squatch! Help bring him back!

Donation protected

Hi Benson Neighbors and friends who travel through our awesome community. Over the past year (and more) we've all been subjected to too many negatives in life. Global pandemic.... Political mayhem..... Out of control gas prices and inflation! Then one day in the recent past, a little ray of sunshine named Sasquatch, entered our lives. Squatch has welcomed visitors to Benson with a smile and a wave. He's shown his patriotic spirit by waving flags on holidays. He has lurked in the river bottoms waiting to greet unknowing fishermen. He may have even been hanging out by the local church, waiting for an invite to come inside. No matter what Squatch is doing, or where we see him, he always brings a smile and a laugh.

Yesterday became a dreadful day in Benson history. Our friend, our confidant, our hide and seek champion, was brutally murdered as he stood patiently waiting for a big wave so he could hang ten in the slough. Although we are all grieving, we can still feel his spirit lingering with us...or maybe that's just his stank.

RIP Sasquatch P. Rees.

Now is the time for us, the living, to support Squatch's family. If you can spare a couple of dollars, please donate today to help Jay and Heidi Rees in their time of need.

Joking aside, let's rise some money to bring Squatch back, and maybe some extra to buy a trail cam to keep him safe, or at least catch the dirt bags who desecrated our buddy. Thanks Jay and Heidi for all of the fun! We love you guys and we love Squatch too!
