Hi, my name is Mahi Sharma, and I’m 12 years old. For my school project, I chose to support the Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center (ZCenter) after learning how many children and adults still need a safe place to heal from abuse. It was hard to read about, but I realized that pretending it doesn’t happen won’t help anyone.

ZCenter gives survivors care, respect, and support, while also teaching communities how to prevent abuse. My dream is that one day, places like this won’t even be needed—but until then, survivors deserve all the help we can give.
