Hello, my name is Donna. I have started this GoFundMe to help my brother Donald with financial hardship on an approved reverse mortgage. My brother was left with an $80,000 credit line debt after my father passed away. He has exhausted all his savings keeping the credit line current while also paying his monthly bills with his Social Security Retirement. He has taken out loans to help pay those monthly bills during the last six months. While he was waiting for the notary to arrive with the closing documents, at the last minute, the lender required my brother to reduce his monthly debt by $390. If he can not reduce his monthly debt, the lender will not close on the reverse mortgage, and my brother may have to sell his home of fifty-five years. My brother has received some financial assistance from friends, but it is not enough to reduce the monthly debt to the amount required. Can you please help me help my brother? Any amount is welcome, no matter how small. I would be grateful if you could also share this to help me spread the word. Any help would mean the world to me.
