Asalamu'Alaykum all,

I am raising funds for a Somali mom of 6 children.  Who live in Minnesota. The family has been through many traumatic experiences that I can not go in to detail to protect her identity. She is raising her children on her own with little to no support. The money will be used to supply new furniture including beds and mattresses, clothes and food for her family.She isn't able to drive so we will teach her and buy her a car she can get by like buying groceries and taking clothes to the laundromat. She has reached out to her neighbors to give her rides but they were able to help a few times before feeling troubled by her and then begin distancing themselves from the mother. She is alone in raising these children on her own and struggling with depression and mental stability. I know our community views those issues as taboo but it is real and it is happening. I will be fundraising for a couple of days then I will deposit the money into by bank account and began purchasing the items with her. I will be posting the receipts and and maybe a voice audio from the mother if she is comfortable with it. I personally know her story and what she's been through. I wish I can share it with you all but I would be violating her privacy. Trust me when I saw it will make you very sad and emotional if only you knew what she has been through and what her children have been through.  I met her a few months back through her children who play at the same park as my siblings. Please donate even if it is $1. Remember that charity will never decrease your wealth but instead it will increase it. Also remember that charity is one of the things can change your destiny.
I will take the money out between the dates of 6/13/20-6/15/20.
