Solving Eugene's litter problems

I am raising funds to clean up abandoned sites and offer trash removal to our unhoused neighbors. I have been doing this on a small scale for over 3 years, but there is a huge need for me to expand. The majority of our unhoused community are desperate for a way to responsibly remove their own trash. My little project has been quite successful, as long as I have the money for dump fees and supplies. Anyone that is interested in helping others clean up our town may donate here or message me if you're interested in volunteering time and/or truck, so we may cover a larger area.
With 2 volunteers, one pickup truck, the cooperation of campers,and less than $100, we successfully removed almost 2000 pounds in the last 3 weeks. I hope to make this an ongoing project with the assistance of our neighborhood associations and individuals throughout the city. Will you be part of the solution?
