Who is Senait Carty?

My name is Senait Carty a Family and Consumer Scientist. I aim to empower families and Individuals in identifying possible alternative solutions against everyday challenges. As a Family Consumer Scientist, I endeavor to teach people to take responsibility in divers global society. My objective is to upgrade living standards by improving quality of life and by advocating for social justice.

Many have told me I have impossible and unrealistic dreams but where there is a will there is a way as we are here to witness what consistent love, compassion and determination can achieve. I have always followed the adage 'Think Big Start Small" principle. I have always thought Big but for over 20 years worked tirelessly on a voluntary basis helping families from all over the world through phone Consultations, Webinars, traveling from City to City, doing Seminars and even going so far as offering retreat, respite and refuge to many families and their children in my modest home.

My home became too small so naturally I had to start thinking of expanding in order to help many more families and henceforth 'Pollin8 Holistic Learning Centre' was born.

What do I want achieve with the Centre?

The Centre amongst many things will unify the whole family to understand the challenges and opportunities that comes with having an Autistic member in the family in a safe and engaging environment. The Centre will offer these families a tranquil setting with the benefit of an echo-friendly modern facilities etc to detox from digital and fast food addiction, ease from depression, heal from behavioral issues assisting the treatment of Autism/ Developmental Delays, physical disabilities and general health.

Pollin8 Holistic Learning Centre's vision is to provide a highly supportive educational and social network for children and their families at risk of social and educational exclusion by offerringa a quality private Centre that will bring out the best versions of the children and parents alike.

In pursuit of its vision, Pollin8 continues to regrettably observe the increase in the number of special needs students whose parents cannot afford the complete holistic services we offer.

It is against this background that our Management is happy to introduce a Pollin8 Scholarship Program as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. We invite you to join this effort through your donations on go-fund-me.

In the long term, our Management plans to transform the Scholarship Program into a stand - alone Pollin8 Scholarship Foundation. The Foundation shall be funded by a dedicated percentage of net revenue from Pollin8 business in addition to sponsorship and/or donations from concerned partners like you.

How will Funds be used?

Pollin8 Holistic Learning Centre will be a one stop shop providing Full Assessments, Diagnosis, Therapies i.e physio, Occupational, Speech, Sign Language, Brail, Teaching Facilities, Workshops for Parents, Nutritional Advice ( including provision of useful Supplements) ,Animal Assisted Therapy, Wheel Chairs.

We are hoping that we will raise more than the £700000, in order to include Salt Water Swimming Pool, Hydrotherapy pool, Baby and Adult Spa, extra classtooms/spaces within the first phase to accommodate more kids, boarding options, parking space and even accommodation for those families who will travel from far and wide to come to our Centre.

The £700000 however is needed as soon as possible to ensure children are not homebound and families get the needed respite to attend to the other members of their families.
