Solo Marathon for COVID-19 Hunger Relief

Tax deductible
Over the next couple months, COVID-19 will continue to put people out of work, into hospitals, and at risk of going hungry. Whether it's children without access to school meals, seniors stuck in isolation, or the millions of workers forced into unemployment, this crisis is bound to force hunger and financial distress on peers and loved ones in nearly every community around the world.

In response, organizations like WhyHunger are stepping up to support those most impacted by hunger and poverty during the COVID-19 crisis by providing food and direct support in the short term, and driving social and policy change in the long term. On 5/30, I will be running an unofficial marathon alone in NYC in support of this cause. Anything you can contribute will mean the world to those who will struggle in the coming months.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

Please see below (or here: https://whyhunger.org/rapidresponse/) for more information about World Hunger Year, Inc.:
WhyHunger believes a world without hunger is possible. We provide critical resources to support grassroots movements and fuel community solutions rooted in social, environmental, racial and economic justice. We are working to end hunger and advance the human right to nutritious food in the U.S. and around the world.

(PS: for those who may be concerned, I am completing most of my training at night, running with a mask when possible, and following social distancing practices to ensure I am not contributing to the spread. In addition, my run on 5/30 will be completely alone)
