Solidarity Fund to help progressive colleagues!

Daily Kos lost many valuable members during the involuntary layoffs and buyouts during the start of 2023. Additionally, departures timed at the end of the month created a series of unanticipated up front costs like paying for COBRA health or new insurance and prescription costs out of pocket, leaving my former colleagues struggling to meet rent or other financial obligations.

There are still a good number of friends and colleagues still struggling with these effects months after the initial blow, while new opportunities in media are difficult to come by.

We hope that the monies raised here will help support them and ease some of the financial burdens from this difficult transition. We appreciate whatever you can give and encourage you to share this appeal through your networks as well.
