El pasado sábado 2 de agosto del 2025, la vida de Alejandro Peralta (cariñosamente Alex) cambió en un instante. Mientras caminaba de regreso a casa en la Intercepción de la Lexington Ave y Jackson St, Passaic NJ, una conductora imprudente lo atropelló, dejándolo gravemente herido. Hoy, desde su cama en el Hospital St. Joseph's de Paterson NJ, con fracturas y un largo camino de recuperación por delante, su rostro aún conserva esa humildad que siempre lo ha definido… pero también vemos la sombra del dolor y la incertidumbre.

**¿Quién es Alex?**

Para quienes tenemos el privilegio de conocerle: Alex es ese amigo que *nunca* dice "no". El que madruga sin quejas para cumplir con su trabajo, el que ofrece ayuda antes de que se la pidan, el que comparte lo poco que tiene sin esperar nada a cambio.
