About Us:

The Solar Vehicle Team at Kennesaw State University is a non-profit competition student organization dedicated to building competition solar vehicles at a low cost. Our goal is to successfully compete in The Formula Sun Grand Prix competition and eventually, the American Solar Challenge while creating opportunities for members to improve their technical, design, and leadership skills. Members get first-hand experience as we collaborate to achieve our mission and develop the skills required to succeed in the workforce.

About the Formula Sun Grand Prix:

The Formula Sun Grand Prix (FSGP) is an annual solar vehicle competition on a closed-loop track. Over 7 days, teams will compete for highest number of laps completed. The 2023 race will be hosted at the Heartland Motorsports speedway in Topeka, Kansas.
