Jahson (Claudell Weaver's grandson/Renee Jones' son), Leiana Milho and the Girls (Tiana and Jayana) are living off-grid in Hawaii.

What is off-grid you may ask? This means they have no running water, electricity or common creature comforts that we have grown accustomed to...

However, they have developed their land and live off of the food produced (fruits and vegetables)...Yes! Their Land! They OWN IT!!!

The dilemma?? No electricity to keep their meats cold. Currently, they purchase approx. 3 bags of ice daily to keep in a cooler for preservation.

My goal is to purchase a solar power system to supply a small energy efficient deep freezer, washing machine and small electronic devices.

The overall price for the entire system including the purchase of aforementioned appliances will cost approximately $8,000.

Installation of this system will relieve Jahson, Leiana, and the girls of spending time and money at laundry mats and allow them to store meat for longer than a 24hr period. In addition, the system will charge small items like phones and laptops (used for homeschooling).

**Installation will also allow the opportunity for future items such as security lighting and a water pump for their rain water filtration system.**

They have developed the property from ground zero, cleared the land themselves, built a home and have grown a beautiful garden surrounding the property and the best part EVERYTHING is edible!
