Hi, I'm Louis, and I am a student at Green School Bali working on my capstone project. As part of that project, I am installing a solar recharge hub in Malang, Indonesia. The village where we are installing this frequently experiences power outages that can sometimes last a few days. This solar recharge hub will provide a consistent, uninterruptable power supply that the villagers can rely on during power outages. It'll also educate and spread awareness about renewable energy and its potential to help reduce energy poverty in rural areas.
Cost breakdown:
Solar panels: Rp2.836.050 (Two 435w solar panels)
Charge controller/(1kw)inverter: Rp1.710.277
Battery: Rp2.750.000
Cables/hardware: Rp 800.000
