16-Year-Old Sohal's Fight: Two New Cancers & Complex Needs

Our son, Sohal (16), is facing an unthinkable medical battle. After years of fighting one devastating illness after another—including two rounds of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)—he now faces two new cancer diagnoses received in August and September 2025:

Non-Langerhans-cell Histiocytosis (Erdheim-Chester Disease): A rare and aggressive blood cancer.

Thyroid Cancer (a genetic form shared by his mother and two sisters).

Sohal is the third of six children. This family has been battling cancer non-stop since 2012; his mother and two sisters have also fought cancer, giving you a picture of their decade-long, immense struggle.

Sohal currently requires continuous, specialized care at SickKids in Toronto for his intense treatment schedule and complex chronic conditions (Epilepsy, seizures, severe anxiety).
