Watch our video to see what we learned and how we grew from our online and outdoor experiments in socially-distant music-making these past months, and our plans for the new year. And if you can, please consider making a donation.
We’ve streamlined rewards this year to put donations where it matters most.
For a gift of any size, we will send you a high-fidelity EP recording of School of HONK songs, including back-tracks for soloing, to play our arrangements at home or anywhere you need our big band sound right beside you.
For gifts of $100 or more, we will also send you a selection from our vault of vintage School of HONK memorabilia from years past (water bottles, t-shirts, bumper stickers, coloring books, and more).
Some of us don’t have any extra to give right now, but we are hoping others might consider giving a little more so that we can continue to cover our costs.
Under covid restrictions, what we save in school rental fees has been more than offset by lost revenue from weekly bucket donations and other city performances. We are relying on our generous monthly sustaining members and our year-end campaign to pay for insurance, instrument repairs, van maintenance, stipends for our executive director and inventory manager, and other costs. Any donation will go a long way to help keep us going in the new year.

School of HONK is a 501(c)3 non-profit, so all donations are tax-deductible.
