Calling all Dog-Lovers!!!

I'm Jeanette, founder of Social Paws!

Social Paws is a dog-sharing app; new to NYC and ready to make dog-sharing pawsible. Our idea is to connect dog-owners and dog-lovers who don't own dogs to share dogs! Download it on Google Play & Apple

This idea was born in 2020 amid the chaos that year brought. It all started with my own dog-sharing success story. I took in a pandemic pup named Luna, who needed care while her mom got back on her feet. I then shared Luna with two other families who wanted to spend time with her. Luna quickly began to change everyone's lives for the better; when everything was uncertain, Luna's love was consistent.

While 2020 was a year of unimaginable stress for many people, Luna became a source of comfort and relief for her circle of humans. After seeing the benefits of the love and companionship of a dog, I wanted to create a way to make dog-sharing easier and accessible for everyone!

On our matching-based interface, you can join one of two teams—Team Social or Team Paws—and browse profiles of dogs for sharing OR people who want to care for your dog.

We believe that dog-sharing completes the need for more affordable dog-care options AND helps dog-lovers fulfill their desire for doggy companionship. Not to mention all the dogs who will get more love, exercise, and stimulation!

We are a part-time team living throughout the country, and we've been working hard to bring this idea to fruition for the last 1.5 years.

Social Paws is currently running on pure passion and we are motivated by some of our recent highlights: being invited for a 2nd interview with Techstars and being awarded 30K in Amazon Web Service credits!

We've also recently begun hosting dog pawties and community walks in NYC and have been touched by the people who come to share their stories of missing their dogs or needing more affordable care options.

These highlights and first-person accounts are only fueling us more!
