SOB 7S GAA 7-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT

I am reaching out to you on behalf of the Shane O’Brien Memorial Committee and the O’Brien family regarding an exciting and meaningful event we are organizing—in conjunction with Erne Gales GAC. The SOBs 7’s Showdown. This charity event will take place on December 7th and is held in memory of thelate Shane O’Brien, on the Anniversary of his passing, honouring his legacy

while supporting a very important cause.

The SOBs 7’s Showdown promises to be a fantastic day of Super 7s GAA

action, where families and friends will come together to enjoy a

high-energy sports event. Proceeds from the event will go directly to the

Air Ambulance. An organization that has been deeply valued by our

community, in recent times.

Shane was a hugely talented sportsman and played for Fermanagh at underage and senior level. He also represented Ireland at under age level when he played in the international rules series. Unfortunately he died in a car accident in South Africa in December 2020 while working for the United

Nations Refugee Agency.
