Help Goodman Family -- House Fire Took Everything

I never thought I'd actually have to make one of these, as I'm sure many people can attest to. But my family needs your help. The uploaded picture is not a picture of my family's house fire as I did not want to add to the trauma my family is already facing, nor did I personally want to look at the pictures of the wreckage that took our beautiful family dog, Nyari and decades worth of my family's momentos. Words can just not express the amount of pain my family is feeling right now, Nyari was not just a dog, she was family. We were her guardians, not her owners, and so my mom and her husband feel every bit of the heaviness and pain that comes with losing a beloved family member and the guilt that comes with not being able to save them from a fate as terrible as hers.

It is with the heaviest heart that I'm making this GoFundMe to help my family get back on their feet, help with finding a new place to stay, as well as, help with hospital bills for my mom's husband who suffered third-degree burns and smoke inhalation.

I want to reiterate that any donation will help and be appreciated, truly. If 20,000 people each gave a dollar, we'd be able to meet the goal. If you are unable to financially contribute, that's perfectly okay as we're all struggling, but please consider sharing this post on your social media!
