Help Snowy Heal – Support for a Dedicated Cat Caregiver
UPDATE: Thank you everyone for your generosity and donations Snowy and me are grateful from the bottom of our hearts. Snowy is home from the hospital and is resting. He has a few weeks of healing required and I have him comfortable in my home. Sharing a picture I took from the camera as my heart melted seeing him rest in peace and finally be home
Hi, my name is Alifiya, and for the past four years, I’ve been caring for a small colony of feral cats outside my home. There are currently eight cats I feed and look after every day — two boys who live in my backyard, one in my garage, and four more in the front of my house. I’ve built them sheds, provided cozy beds, and always made sure they have clean water and food, no matter the weather.
I work in a preschool, and honestly, much of my income goes directly toward caring for these cats. I don’t mind — they’re my heart.
This week, one of my longtime boys, Snowy, came home limping. He’s about 12 years old and has been with me for years. I managed to get him safely to the vet, where they took X-rays and found that the toes on his back left foot were all broken. He’s now in strict confinement and medical boarding, where he’s receiving the care he needs, including a splint and lots of love.
So far, I’ve spent over $3,000 on Snowy’s care — and I will do everything I can to make sure he heals. But I’m reaching out to ask for help so I can continue to support him without falling too far behind financially.
If you can contribute, even a small amount, it would mean the world to me — and to Snowy. Your support helps give a senior cat a chance to heal and return to his safe outdoor home when he’s ready.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, sharing, and supporting this journey.
With love and gratitude,
Alifiya aka Feral Mom
