Snowy cannot walk and needs Love

EDIT: Snowy is failing. she's not eating... been to the vet.. tried everything..

Edit 5 May 2024 Snowy is getting a lot of vet care. She has developed complications and I change her bandages daily. She requires a lot of towel baths as she cannot poop on a pad and usually has fur troubles. We have wheels for her and she gets outside. She is unable to move around and bites when moved at times. I have a few scars lol We will continue to vet her and make sure she is clean, fed and watered. She is a Darling Dog. Donations buy her diapers. pads, special digestive food (very costly) and vet visits. She deserves love and life as to be clean and healthy. Awesome Pup!!!

Meet Snowy - formally known as Snowball I don't call her Snowball... she can't walk She is not a ball... She is a Darling dog. Love this girl!!! She came to us because her owner was going to put her in a kill shelter. Another rescue took her on but found out she could not walk which was not compatible with her dog situation. I totally get that. Snowy would have been in a bad place so we took her. The other rescue tried to make it work and lucky for us ... we got her in our lives. She lives upstairs with me. Lots of love here. She gets sponge baths.. and hand fed when needed.. She Loves to be pet and will come to you .. front legs moving and back legs dragging.. ... Someone donated some wheels so we can take her outside and I think she likes the feeling on not dragging her legs. She eats good.. had meatballs from the Best Pizzeria - Gino's of West Hempstead - she went to the vet for a leg problem. A growth popped in my hands the other morning before work. Blood. Doc took care of her and we have to change the bandages every day. NO problem. I will make the time. Vet bill and bandages has run over $500. Snowy had another Vet appointment. The medicine and bandage changes are working. We bought her more bandages and change every day. We bought diapers for her as she is not able to move much. She gets love and eats and drinks. I sit with her a lot and she is just a sweetheart. we are not out of the woods but what we are doing is working to heal this Sweet lady !!!
