Snowdon charity walk

Donation protected
Hi,

We are climbing Snowdon on 3rd June 2022 to help raise money for Isla Rose Foundation. I will attach the link below for you to read Islas story and how sponsors can help Isla and other babies born with Nonketotic hyperglycinemia (NKH).

Raising funds to further the research that could potentially save her life and other children like her. With her condition being so rare it means there is no government funding so they really do need every penny they can get.

As most of you know, I chose to jump out of a plane last year rather than climb a mountain as I have only just beaten my own mind and got myself up Snowdon for the first time, last month with a lot of encouragement and support (as I had a meltdown every 34 seconds). This time doing it with a gang of us is a bigger challenge! My mind will be telling me I’ll be weak, I’ll hold everyone up and so on….

Kirstys story of Snowdon was from around 2009 when she climbed it unexpectedly, wearing a pair a biker boots, she got soaked, cried all the way up and down, had no other clothes and lay on the toilet floor crying for 45 minutes whilst trying to dry her top and prepare herself to come back down. So this is a challenge for her too.

Plus, anyone who knows us together knows we are walking disasters! You’ll be pleased to know we are doing this with experienced walkers and will be completely safe!

Any amount donated would mean the world to us and Islas family.

We promise to share pics of the day, even the bad ones!!
