WHO WE ARE:

For the past 19 years, a dedicated community of improvisers in the metro Detroit area has come together for an incredible annual event known as Snow Day. This 26-hour improv marathon is not just a showcase of talent but a heartfelt commitment to supporting our local charities.

Since its inception in 2006, Snow Day has evolved into a significant event, drawing performers from across the Midwest to participate in this remarkable charitable initiative. The essence of Snow Day lies in its unwavering dedication to giving back to the community that has nurtured and supported the Detroit improv and theater scene.

Our mission is clear: to raise funds for three remarkable organizations that embody the spirit of our community. These three charitable foundations hold a special place in our hearts, as they pay tribute to three extraordinary individuals who played a pivotal role in shaping the Detroit improv and theater community.

OUR BENEFICIARIES:

Gilda's House of Detroit: Providing invaluable support to those impacted by cancer, Gilda's House honors the legacy of a remarkable individual and brings comfort to countless lives.

The Tim Hayden Memorial College Fund: In memory of Tim Hayden, this fund empowers aspiring students to pursue their dreams through higher education, fostering the growth of future talent.

The Diana George Jacokes Endowment Fund: A tribute to the enduring spirit of Diana George Jacokes, this fund ensures that her contributions to our community are recognized and her legacy lives on.
