Snack Baskets For The Front Line Workers

Hi! My name is Kerry and I live on Long Island, NY.
 
In memory of my late mother, I started a business called “Ei Love You Baskets”. I create custom made gift baskets for all occasions. By creating this GoFundMe Page, I’m hoping to be able to create baskets filled with positive things to help the front line workers through a day. The baskets would include items  such as: snacks, candy, gum, mints, coffee gift cards, anything that will help ease their mind, even for just for a minute. They will be dropped off to hospitals, local police departments and fire houses on Long Island. I ask that you please consider donating, they need the community more than ever. 

I grew up with my mom as a nurse and my dad as a police officer. My parents went to work everyday, as frontline workers, not knowing what they were going to face in any given hour. Although it was scary at times, it was their life and I know they would’t have had it any other way. They chose their careers because they knew it would consist of helping people—helping people by getting them through their most difficult days. It didn’t matter who the patient was or what the call was at that moment, they were selfless, loyal, and supportive. It was just in their blood. It was their calling.

It is our turn, as a community, to show our selflessness, loyalty and support towards all the frontline workers during this horrible pandemic.

No amount is too small or too big. Please help our front line workers to see that light at the end of a very long day and know that their loyalty, selflessness, and support never goes unnoticed, especially during a time like this!
