EVEREST BASECAMP 2022.

In late October, we are commencing our long-awaited, audacious and somewhat challenging expedition to the South Sided Base Camp of Mt Everest, Nepal, ascending to an altitude of 5364M (17,598 ft) from our starting point at Lukla.

Physical preparations for the expedition commenced in early 2022, consisting of strength and conditioning programming supplemented with great support and advice from various personal trainers (LBU) and excellent sports facilities throughout Leeds Beckett University.

We have decided to dedicate the expedition to raising charity funds to donate to the Charity ‘Mind’, an exceptional cause of special and personal importance to both of us.

We both feel very conscious of the significance of good mental health and well-being, understanding that many people require additional support at differing times in their lives.

Any donations towards this great cause, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
