Moving Expenses to Leave Cockroach Infested Apt

I am not one to come on the internet and ask for help or money, but I have gotten desperate at this point. I moved into my apartment and once it started getting warmer it became very clear that there is a very serious cockroach infestation. It has gotten to the point where I cannot cook a meal without cockroaches swarming my counters, them crawling all over the furniture, and invading every part of the home. They have been found in my oven mitts, in important paperwork I have, in my shower/toilet, under my hamper, in my outlets/electronics, my vacuum, air fryer, on my bed. Think of a spot in your home and they have been there for me. It has been nothing short of a nightmare.

The unit has been treated four times and they only seem to get worse after every treatment. It is a huge hassle because they can only schedule it during the week during working hours, I have to empty all closets and drawers and cover all of our personal belongings and make sure the boys, my cat, and myself are evacuated for at least four hours. I have lost hours at work to get this handled and nothing works because this place needs months and months of treatment while nobody is living here.

I have begged my landlords to just give me my deposit back and let me leave, but they will not allow it. And since they’re technically treating the apartment, I have no legal leg to stand on.

due to having to spend all of my savings on my car earlier this year and other unexpected expenses, I have no money set aside to be able to move. And with how expensive the cost of living is here in San Diego, it’ll be months before I can save enough to leave. It has gotten to the point where I come home and cry and can’t feel any comfort in my own living spaces. I’m asking for 3 grand for the deposit, moving truck, and to hopefully replace some of the items the cockroaches have also infested (my vacuum, my air fryer, tv, etc) but ANY amount helps.
