Hello, my name is Leron King and I'm having to raise my great-nephew because his mother decided to use drugs. She overdosed on fentanyl with him in her stomach. She was taken to the hospital as a Jane Doe DOA (dead on arrival). Just so happened that a friend of mine saw and knew her and told them who she was. They got her revived and now I have a 2-year-old and I'm 53 years old.

It gets very trying sometimes because it's been a while since I've had kids in my home. I can't seem to get any help from Cumberland County Department of Social Services. They can't help me with daycare or even food stamps for him at all. Last week, my lights got cut off and they left us in the dark and cold. It sometimes gets a lot because my health isn't the greatest, but I still try and press on to make life easier for him. I really need some assistance from anyone that can afford to help us in these hard times. Anything would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!!
