At Destawed, we’ve built our brand on celebrating love—vibrant, bold, and unforgettable South Asian destination weddings that unite families and cultures in the most meaningful ways.

But this year, during our upcoming team retreat, we’re choosing to celebrate love in an even deeper way. We’ll be visiting a local orphanage for boys in Punta Cana, DR—a remarkable place that has spent over 25 years nurturing, educating, and empowering children who have no one else.

These boys have faced unimaginable challenges—abandonment, poverty, and trauma. But thanks to the unwavering efforts of a small, dedicated team at A Better World Orphanage, they’re finding hope, healing, and a path forward. This incredible orphanage provides far more than food and shelter—it gives these boys a second chance at life.

Through education, emotional support, and structure, the foundation helps these young boys grow into confident, capable, and compassionate young men, ready to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
