Hi, my name is Andreas Zapletal. I started SmarterVote.ca as a passion project. With disinformation at an all time high, I wanted to create something people could trust for information about our political candidates. What is their platform? What have they said? And what have those running against them said about the same topics? This site distills this to a table comparing the candidates side by side, issue by issue. We are starting with my town of Huntsville’s election and the goal is to grow it to all elections in Canada. Your donation will allow us to scale the site and support your ability to vote in all elections with verified information. If you vote, that’s great. If you’re fully informed about your vote, that’s better.
