Our children deserve to learn, play, and grow in a safe environment.
As parents and neighbors, we have come together to advocate for the safety of our children regarding the proposed Sierra Wilds development directly beside our neighborhood school campus. Critical concerns include construction dust, air quality, traffic bottlenecks, loss of the playground as well as other school areas, and emergency vehicle access have been formally raised on the record, but our children's daily well-being requires vigilant oversight.

Now we need your help to continue advocating for their safety. Your donation directly funds licensed, independent expert reviews, specialized land-use legal counsel, and public-record advocacy so these serious safety concerns receive the rigorous scrutiny our kids deserve.

Every contribution makes a difference, and sharing this fundraiser helps amplify our children's voice. From one family to another, thank you for standing with our children and our community.

How are student and community safety at risk?

On September 22, 2026, the Rocklin City Council approved the design review and environmental exemption findings for the Sierra Wilds project in a 3–2 vote.

Throughout public hearings and within the municipal record, technical questions, testimony from first responders, and concerns regarding traffic flow were formally raised-
  • Emergency & First Responder Access: Traffic bottlenecks along Wildcat Boulevard and constrained ingress/egress routes may impact response times and apparatus turning maneuvers for fire and medical emergencies.
  • School Safety & Infrastructure Proximity: Proximity to utility corridors, school play areas, and shared property boundaries, raising questions regarding site logistics, easements, and buffer safety for the adjacent campus.
  • Environmental & Construction Impacts: Potential environmental and construction impacts, including the proximity of excavation, dust/particulate control, and heavy equipment staging to student recreation zones.
  • Traffic & Pedestrian Flow: Potential conflict risks between residential traffic, school vehicles, and young pedestrians.

Why we are fundraising -
To provide decision-makers, regulatory agencies, and the public with objective, empirical data—and to ensure community safety concerns, balanced land-use solutions, and long-term neighborhood compatibility are fully represented.

Permitted expenditures may include, but are not limited to:

  • Independent Technical & Safety Engineering: Retaining licensed civil and traffic engineering consultants (PE) to conduct independent evaluations of site circulation, emergency apparatus access, pedestrian corridors, and related infrastructure constraints.

  • Specialized Land-Use & Municipal Legal Counsel: Retaining environmental and land-use counsel to review the administrative record, verify statutory compliance with local and state planning mandates, and advise the coalition on appropriate administrative and procedural remedies.

  • Site Preservation & Strategic Alternatives: Assessing, exploring, and pursuing viable long-term land-use alternatives—including feasibility studies, appraisals, conservation strategies, potential property or easement acquisition, or facilitating public-benefit/educational open space buffers where feasible.

  • Administrative Records & Procedural Filings: Covering California Public Records Act (PRA) requests, official document and transcript preparation, agency filing fees, and related technical or procedural expenses necessary to maintain a complete administrative record.

  • Community Education & Public Reporting: Publishing objective, fact-based summaries of independent findings, research reports, and public hearing materials to keep area residents and families informed.

How you can help -

Donate: Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and directly fund independent engineering studies, legal reviews and strategic site evaluation.

Share: Forward this campaign to Rocklin neighbors, local community forums, and area family groups.

Stay Engaged: Follow project updates, review independent findings, and participate constructively in open public administrative hearings.

The coalition supports lawful, responsible development while ensuring that municipal infrastructure, student buffers, and emergency response capabilities are verified through objective engineering.

Thank you for your support.
