We are exploring the small farm possibilities and we need funds to continue our exploration, research and discoveries. Funds will be used to develop community and neighborhood gardens.
Exploring the Small Farm Dream started as a course which was designed to help aspiring farmers who have decided to start a farm business
Our action plan includes a small community and neighborhood garden, structured for convenience and easy access. What we do:
We do Self-Assessment and Research the Farming Landscape
Assessing Resource and Risk
Decision-Making and Next Steps
We welcome feedback from hobbyist and lifestyle farmers. We are also interested in recently retired individuals or individuals who will retire soon who have farming knowledge
We are in the business of learning how new and beginning farmers can access agricultural resources. We seek to learn about opportunities to connect with local farm business owners, agricultural professionals, and others interested in new farm enterprises.
