One year ago today, on 25 October 2024, I lost my dad to suicide. My dad was always someone I looked up to and the choice he made affects my family and I every single day. I always think about why he made this choice and what I could have done to prevent it. I would like to help provide resources to those considering committing suicide as well as providing resources to those affected by it. I am looking to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and am vowing to ruck 1 mile for every $10 raised in the month of November. This organization is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. Together, we can create a community that understands mental health and actively works toward prevention.
