Slo-Pitch for Autism

The Machine was part of a slo-pitch team for Autism earlier this month and while we won the Guelph Series Championship, we felt we did not do a great enough job raising money for such an important cause.  Hence, our team has decided to participate in another tournament on October 1st in Halton Hills in the hopes to raise more money and awareness for Autism.  Prior to the tournament, I had no knowledge that Autism impacted so many people and that there is still very little support provided to those suffering from it or their family.  Did you know… one in every 63 children are diagnosed with Autism in Canada alone and there are several varying degrees of Autism…think about that for a second!
