Sleeping Bags for Homeless in Orlando 2025-26
We are providing Sleeping Bags for the Homeless in Greater Orlando.
The cold weather is approaching, and we need your help to provide sleeping bags for the homeless on the streets around Central Florida. These bags are handed out to those in need on street corners and in parks. Wherever we see the need, we offer up a sleeping bag.
The more you give, the more we can help.
$15 = 1 Sleeping Bag
$60 = 4 Sleeping Bags
$150 = 10 Sleeping Bags
How it started.
In December 2020, I stood looking out my fourth-floor window, all snug in my jammies and sipping hot cocoa. I was lost in the joy of the holiday season until I saw a homeless man across the street on a park bench, bundled up, trying to stay warm. It was 53 degrees outside then, and overnight it dropped to 46. The following day, I bought ten sleeping bags at and handed them to the homeless in Downtown Orlando. But I felt it wasn't enough and needed assistance to help more people. After contributions from a few friends, we distributed 48 sleeping bags by month’s end. Every day we met new and different homeless people in and around the area and provided them with the warmth and safety of a sleeping bag.

For 2024-25 we raised over $1500 and provided over 100 sleeping bags for the homeless, and we hope to do the same again this year. Can you help?
